I made this card for the launch of the Regal Peacock Stamp Soup collection on Hochanda a while back and all the images have been stamped, embossed with white and coloured with my Aqua Flow pens.
I began by creating my background to look as if there was sky and land. Next using 'Nikky's stab & stitch pokey tool', I randomly added holes around the edge, stopping to stamp the sentiment 'Happy' inbetween and joined up the holes with a white gel pen (faux stitching). Next using the bubble effect stamps, I randomly stamped and embossed - in white - the design over the background.
Next I stamped out my floral arrangement and embossed in white. I coloured the images with Aqua Flow pens. On a seperate piece of card, I stamped and embossed the same images, colouring as before. Using the Ribbon Gift Frame die, I created a frame and added this to my card with 3D foam. I also cut out all the other stamped images and began layering up the flowers and foliage to give both a layered effect and also add depth to the flowers.
As a finishing touch, I added Elegant Flourish die cuts, winding them through the foliage. I also cut the die cuts up so that I could add certain elements to my design. The flowers have been finished with red doodle gems. Finally, there is no focal sentiment because after making my card, I didn't know which theme it fitted best, so rather than 'chuck' anything on, I left the card blank.
